Thanks to the incredible support of my sponsors, clients, friends
and family, 2014 was a very successful year. Highlights included Zar
finishing 7th at the Festival of Champions Intermediare National
Championships. Zar then also went on to win the Championship at
both the USDF Region 8 Championships and the US Dressage Finals at
Intermediate B. Warsteiner finished the season with a 70.3% Grand
Prix median, finishing 13th in the USDF Horse of the Year standings.
Warsteiner also won the Region 8 Championship at Grand Prix
Freestyle In his first season at FEI, Romantico SF finished Reserve
Champion USDF Horse of the Year at Intermediare I, and 3rd at the US
Dressage Finals at Prix St Georges. I was also awarded the USEF
Owner of the Year award (out of over 7850 owners).
2015 also is looking to be a very exciting year. Zar and Warsteiner
will both be competing at the Grand Prix level, including Freestyle.
Romantico will be competing at Prix St Georges, Intermediare I and
Freestyle. The newest addition to my show-string is Damani, a 10
year old Hanoverian mare, who will be making her Grand Prix debut.
Competing my own horses is very expensive, but allows me to develop
them carefully with no external pressures. My main goal is always
having a happy, healthy and sound horse who can develop both
mentally and phsyically to his/her fullest potential. I currently
have a super group of young FEI horses who have been successful and
still have a lot more to offer as they become stronger. I rarely
sell my main competition horses after the partnership we have
developed through so many years, therefore, finances are always
tight, and any help is greatly appreciated. Estimated show expences
for 2015 are $15,000.
